Finally my visa approved and all heartfelt thanks to Mangalath Immigration. Since I engaged with Mr Murali N Mangalath for the Australia Visa Application journey, he and his staff have been very friendly, super-attentive, fast-responsive and are giving clear-guidance every step of the way. When we first considered migrating to Australia from Qatar, we consulted with several travel agencies. They all indicated that our documents would be forwarded to a MARA agent for verification and processing. We felt like, lot of them are giving false promises. During this time, a friend recommended Mangalath Immigration and Mr. Murali Mangalath.
We decided to seek their advice, and after explaining our profile, we received a detailed email outlining the process, including agent fees. For the next two to three months, we were preoccupied with work and didn't take any further action. In November-December 2022, we received a message from Mr. Gopinathan at the Mangalath Immigration Kochi office, informing us that Mr. Murali Mangalath who is a MARA agent himself, would be in Doha for the 2022 World Cup.
We casually called Mr. Murali and decided to meet him with my family at Vasantha Bhavan Hotel in Doha. Over a meal, we discussed our concerns about moving to Australia, including the cultural shift. He was very clear and provided straightforward answers. Following this discussion, we decided to proceed with Mangalath Immigration immediately. We paid our first installment in December 2022.
The skill assessment stage began for both my husband and me. We were both eligible for skilled migration and had to gather numerous documents from our previous employers and educational institutions. The Mangalath Immigration Kochi office and Mr. Murali provided real-time assistance with document verification, ensuring accuracy before submission to the Australian government. We did not receive any rejection or correction requests from the Department of Home Affairs (IMMI Australia) for any of our submitted documents.
Both our skill assessments were completed successfully and on schedule.
Subsequently, we submitted nominations to all Australian states. While this was in progress, my husband received a job offer in Western Australia (WA) in May 2024, and we relocated to Perth. Mr. Murali advised us to withdraw all state nominations except WA and to change our nomination status from offshore to onshore. The process accelerated after this. I received WA state nomination as a Medical Laboratory Technician. We applied for the visa in November 2024 and received our Subclass 491 grant in March 2025.
I thank all the staff at Mangalath Immigration, Kerala, and Mr. Murali Mangalath for making this process smooth and efficient.
